No idea what they intend on dumping into Animal Crossing, but I know I'm logging in. About time too, I'm sure my world is covered in horrible bug things.

The question I have is a technical one. Is this a mere "unlock" for an item they had already put in this game, or is it actually a new item that is downloaded and saved onto the cart? The implications of the latter would be rather something, and if it is the latter, I'm just glad Nintendo hasn't, yet, decided to open an online market where you buy fake furniture with real money.

I think this is probably something that's saved to the cart. That's what it sounds like anyway.

Maybe the item is a Wii and you can play games on it via the stylus and it'll be a horrible poor-man's version of the Wii.

Crossings character: "Is that the princess or a moblin? God damn two-pixel sprites..."

Sprites? Both Wild World and all the Wii games I've seen are 3D.
