The power of the PS3 made Guerilla a good developer!

Killzone? There is no Killzone... did anyone see it at E3 this year? Yeah. :)

Warhawk video: Would "owned" be appropriate? Sony, Sony... :D Great video!

(but Warhawk-PS1 is an awesome game...)

Sony simply doesn't want to pay Immersion the $90 million plus settlement that they'll have to before Immersion will liscence them rumble tech (and Immersion has said that it'd be simple to put tilt tech in the PS3 controller if Sony would just pay them the settlement money and get the liscence), and they are evidently unable to come up with their own method of rumble like Nintendo has (Nintendo's rumble isn't liscenced from Immersion and they've never been sued over it, so obviously it IS possible to make rumble without infringing on Immersion's patents...), so...

Of course, the problem is, they almost certainly will eventually lose in court and will end up paying the money anyway. The only question is, how many more years can they drag it out...

I was in the game store today, looking at the shelves... stupid PS2, why are most of the games that look like they are worth buying on that thing? Annoying controller, poor design, not great looks... I'd rather have a GC (well I do, but...), Xbox, or Dreamcast, but the good games to games available on other systems ratios are SO much lower on the Xbox and DC that it doesn't seem worth it at all... but the PS2 has that same stupid controller and involves Sony. I'm trying to tell myself "just get nothing (more consoles wise) and try to save it for more Wii stuff..." but that's hard with the Wii still quite a ways off...

And how about that Neo-Geo Pocket Color sitting in the store, I want one of those too... :)

It's good to see that everyone is on the same page. At first, people were actually calling the PS3 pad revolutionary or the next step in video games, I had feared that people had become as dumb as I thought. Thank God I wasn't right. Sony's last-minute add-on has actually made Wii's interface look vastly superior, Sony turned irony in to a four letter word, and now a sony-centric publication is thumbing their nose at the hardware that their magazine is focused on. The days are getting weirder with every day that passes.

There is winged bears in the sky, cats and dogs are living together, sugarless candy, wireless cable, reusable disposables, carrots instead of cheese... would you like a cup of applesauce with your double quarter pounder and now, it's popular to hate Sony. The end times are upon us all.

I'll say it right now though: despite all the hate, the PS3's initial shipments, at least, will sell out. There is a substantial group of people who'll buy it, no matter the price... remember how much people were paying for X360s on eBay?

I bet the PS3 will 'sell-out' because of 'shortages' like every console does at a launch, but i dont expect very high numbers. I'm willing to bet the 360 will out-sell PS3 while Wii will actually see a sell-out. I expect to see Wii on Ebay for two or three times its price too... I hope I get one before that happens.

And I didn't win the lottery! AGAIN!
