Hard to get excited about this given how FFXIII turned out.

I haven't played XIII, but the question obviously is about how this game will play... like XIII? Like X-2? Something different?

There's a trailer. It plays like Kingdom Hearts it seems. It may actually be fun.
...Unfortunately I can't find the trailer any more... Square-Enix actually sued over a trailer being put online? Isn't that a little counter-productive?

XIII is my favourite Final Fantasy since VII.

I actually went back and powered my way through it last week, because it bugged me that I left it unfinished.
It was highly disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the visuals were gorgeous, the writing was alright, and the voice acting was great, but...that battle system...
