They should try and put in LAN support in all their multiplayer games from now on. Yes that's a tricky thing to work into the game, and added development time, but it's us who will actually be footing the bill for the online support via LAN mode.
Speaking of, the newest Beta (4.2) actually HAS an opponent finder now. I've played a couple games of Double Dash, and I gotta say it's still way too slow. The game just runs like it's on slow mode rather than skipping, which means it's playable, but still.
