I've spent this one with family, since where I live no one actually goes door to door. Fortunately, where my mother lives, there's still plenty of trick or treaters, and apparently costumes haven't changed one bit from the 80's. Speaking of which, I've got a sister who's really into making awesome Halloween costumes for her kids. A few years back, they were all dressed as E.T. characters (sadly, she didn't go meta and dress up the E.T. costume in a second ghost costume). This year, they were all dressed as characters from Neverending Story (such as Falcore). Next year, she's planning an Alf costume and a cat sandwich costume.
