Looks pretty good, could do without that little extra hook on the bottom though.

The hook makes use of empty space... Can you find the arrow?

I see the arrow, that's snazzy. The church of science symbol throws me for a loop tho, i guess i'm more in to the humor of symbolism when dealing with computer-based branding. Ie the Linux penguin or "game cock" and things like that. Why not a little boy in silhouette on top of a miniaturized earth holding a butterfly net, jumping in mid-air to catch a butterfly made entirely of pixels? You would be the boy frolicking in the world wide web with your "net", yunno?

also, maybe try putting the arrow inside one of the letters like the Fed-Ex logo so it's less obtuse.

Huh, there is an arrow in there. I never pay attention to these things anyway. Well, not entirely true. I have noticed a trend. Companies seem to be going away from the "symbol plus name" logos and more towards "name by itself in stylized font" logos. Symbols in your logos are so 90's.

Clearly you put some effort into it though, it looks nice. I'd get rid of the sun and that little line below (you don't need an arrow, like I said I never noticed the arrow in the FedEx logo, though I don't really use FedEx anyway).

I like the line under the name, the Fedex arrow is/was clever... and with the colors and such it makes it kind of look like combining lines or something, a network wire or something like that? Is that intentional, or am I just seeing things?

well, it's Federal Express. ie: it is the faster version of the government's mail system. So the words become combined to create a new faster word. The arrow in the Express portion of the word, signifying it's speed. But i think bridging together, networking, is also very much implied.

FedEx is a public company, not affiliated with the government.

Yeah that shows how I don't pay that much attention to this sort of thing. I think those guys suck. The US Postal Service... Never once had reason to complain there. Always first in line, get in and out quickly, people answer my questions accurately and without seeming like they hate that I asked them. It might just be my local branch considering that's the direct opposite of the stereotype, but I like it.
