Any guy that spends a lot of time with how they dress and look physically is usually gay because they have such a high appreciation for the male body, but that alone wont give you enough to go on sometimes. It's a lot of showing off as well, that's why gay isn't the reverse of heterosexuality, it's a emotional need to feel appreciated physically on a more important level than what would be considered normal or healthy. The same is concerned with women that are gay. But then you also have gender reversal where the person in question wants to act or look like the opposite sex (sometimes this is forced upon them, for example a woman who has her uterus removed will become more masculine in her appearance, if this happens at a young age, the women may embrace her look and attempt to personify the male persona).

But even if gender reversal isn't applicable you have heavy emphasis on being sexual in nature, usually a sign of poor upbringing or uncontrollable events and a need for attention.
