Okay so I get myself in front of a pooter to get (finally, Jesus) ebay done and someone for some unknown reason DELETED WORD! WAHT??? So I google it and get nuthin, go to MS.com and get nuthin (tho i'm d/l a thing called word viewer wtfux cant edit?) and apparently if for any reason you delete word, getting it back is like ....doing something really difficult and frustrating! masturbating a whale ON LAND! Picking up dimes with your EYE LASHES! Watching entire episodes of Saved by the Bell!

    FARTING a SONANT

Okay. Imagine nickdaddyg's children and the events that brought them there. Imagine them lifting weights, as a family, buying custom guns and brimming with ghettoness in private vocational schools and MODELING for their OWN PICTURES

    SHARE MY PAIN

...I mean. Yeah, so... yunno, can I get word back?

    plz :crap:

Find your MS Office CD and reinstall it. Simple as that really. Shouldn't be that hard ya know?

If you've lost it, then might I suggest Openoffice.org? It's free and can view and edit Word documents.

If by viking you mean you just discovered it, no worries because the interface is pretty easy to adapt to if you are used to MS Office. If you don't have the install CD for Office and you managed to delete it from your disk, there's really no way to get it back. Microsoft is certainly not going to just let you download the whole thing from their site, and download.com and so on are hardly going to host it.

    Might I suggest OpenOffice?
It's free, It reads office files, it behaves like office, and It's open source.

    *suddenly nude*

May your weresluts and amphibious pea-shitting women give you many years of unhealthy pleasure and awkward therapy sessions.

*touches his penis to yours and makes a 'ting' sound*

Its good but slow, dunno why. But it works heartily and makes text do stuff which is good... for hands.

    Good.

    For hands.

    For hands.

    Good.

    Hands.

    For good.

    'ting'

Etoven, open source doesn't matter to non-programmers.

    Is that why it's slow?

Maybe since its open sourced, it leaks CPU thingies. If we could close its source, it wont leak and then it'll run faster!

nigga i dun figga dat out e zee

Yeah, here's what you do. Buy my new "source closer patches" and glue them to your hard disk. They use magnetic quantum effects and... crystals (yeah crystals) to close the sources in your programs and make them run faster. Your whole system should get a boost! $300.

Anyway, the only real slowness I noticed was starting up the program, and yes, it is worse than Office in that regard. But, it's only a few seconds and I don't mind the wait myself. There's a seperate program that sits in the background that exists only to boost loading times, but to be honest I hate background apps like that so I killed that thing as soon as I saw it.

OpenOffice is awesome. It's what I use... I'd probably use WordPerfect if I had a recent version of it to install, but I don't, so OpenOffice is the next best thing... not quite WP's equal, but quite good. And vastly superior to MS Office.
