Tommorow's August, that means it's time for a new flavour for the flavour of the month forum
How about a topic I understand so I can actually pretend to be the all powerful mod who doesn't do anything?

We could change the topic to Nintendo. Then we could use this thread to talk about Nintendo stuff. Wouldn't that be cool?

Skies of Arcadia is a fun game.

In other pirate related news, who wants to see Peter Pan?

The Monkey Island series is awesome.

Pirates of the Carribean was a really cool movie and it actually made money, unlike most pirate movies.

Yes, Monkey Island is great... the best one, IMO, is Curse. Followed, probably, by Secret. :)

Sorry, OB1, but the third one is the best in every way... challenge, humor, graphics, story, etc... its just a really great game. The first two games are also really good, but not quite as good as the third one... as for Secret, it is fairly easy when compared to the later games. A lot of fun, and quite funny... but fairly easy.

Oh, and the fourth one is okay, but really was a big dissapointment.

The third one certainly looks better than the first two, but I really don't think it was funnier. But it's all very close.

Yeah, the first three were all really good games. The fourth one was a bit dissapointing.

Yeah. The graphics were nice, and had a good style, but IMO they just aren't as good as a good 2d world is... and it just wasn't as funny as the previous ones. Definitely a dissapointment... though it still was a lot of fun, it just wasn't as fun as the first three.

I really need to play more Monkey Island games. I think I played Secret of Monkey Island. It was the one with the sword-fight-trash-talking, lots of root beer, some sort of acidic acoholic drink that could melt through steel, and something about getting a head in navigating.

    I can't wait for Monkey Island 5.

George Lucas should direct a Monkey Island movie when he finishes with Star Wars.

Well, I don't KNOW that they're making another one, but I assume that they probably will eventually.

Well, how well did MI4 sell, on PC and PS2?
