I'm not huge on introduction threads because I don't like to announce my newb-ness, but today I'll make an exception. Anyway, Darunia, a friend from my high school linked me to these forums. And, after numerous threats to my life, I decided to join.

I mostly play PC games such as battlefield 1942, America's Army, and Rainbow 6: Raven Shield but I like to play the occasional console game such as any RE game except for those infernal games RE gaiden, and survivor.

Ah, a new person. Hopefully he'll stick around long enough for our insanity to crush his spirit. Oh, and the cow too. Hey wait, you don't get the cow twice! The cow welcomed you back at the Avril Lavigne thread!

In any case, good to have you here. Make yourself at home.

You know Darunia in person? My condolences.

I meant someone new who actually seems likable. :)

Well, it's been two and a half months and that's slightly more than just a short period of time.

I would sign up for something if Darunia threatened me too. I can play Saria's Song, but I think that wouldn't be enough. Welcome and welcome. And welcome.

I want the Cow. I don't think I ever got the Cow, even once.

That's because you've always been here. I did come up with a "returning" image, but I forgot where the link is.

Okay then, :cow:, and der ya go. One big fat cow for LL!

Oh yeah, I saw it when it first came out. I just found this pic on the hard drive and I was getting a bit tired of the Accounts Recieveable battle :)

Mmm...beef...yeehaw, i'm eatin` good tonight. That's an interesting newb hazing tool, at the pvp forums we use something called a pooduck (pictured below). It's some kind of creepy knick knack.

Good, then you should fit in just fine.

Oh, and as for lazy, I would wholly recommend staying out of his pants, but reading everything, because he'll double you over with laughter. Read his answers to the Survey to see what I mean.

And our cow could kill that little...whatever it is.

This has nothing to do with hazing. We aren't even giving you the cow (you can't eat it, it's just too lovely to do that). We are TELLING you WE have a lovely cow, and you haven't! Well, now that you're a member, it's your's too, well, in the sense that you can claim a king is yours. Obey it's every command!

I've got some crab cakes, but they've been in the fridge for several years and I'm not entirely sure but I think one of them has developed a crude nervous system.

Hey, a crude nervous system! Just like Darunia!

Oh, and Darunia, for reasons beyond any of our imaginations, hates our beloved lazyfatbum. Ignore his hatred, most of us do. Believe it or not, with enough training, it can be done.

How so, when I never deviate from calling him 'LAZY FAT ASSFUCK'...? Maybe if I deviated every time to a progressively immature name, but the standard LFAF seems to properly express my distaste for him. I think your liking him is stupid.

We think your dislike of him is equally stupid, and it baffles us. Why on earth do you have a such a hatred for lazyfatbum. It's totally baseless and you just seem to not like him for no other reason than not liking him. Explain it to us, I for one, am dying to know.

The very first day I ever came to Tendo City, way back when, I was in a chat with Moiraine, Lazy and a few others. I only knew Moiraine. We were chatting, and I don't remember what happened, but Lazy and I got into a fight. Moiraine will remember; ask her. Lazy targeted me, slandered me, changed my avatar, and generally made me miserable here. Doesn't anyone remember that, it was three years ago now... so I've never forgiven him, because he escaped with the full support and backing of the elders of TC. I was a TC newbie, and was proverbially molested by him.

I take issue with that statement. Yesterday my avatar and title were changed by somebody other than me. A_Black_Falcon said that only an admin would have power to do that.

Why do you guys have so many admins when only one or two are necessary? Why not just make everybody a mod instead?

That's been suggested before, actually... though mods and admins are different. Mods only have power in the forum they are a mod in... admins have power everywhere, and can get into some more things.

And a few people (Weltall and a couple of others) have access to the base of the site -- can do anything to it.

Why so many? I don't know... we've had lots of mods and admins ever since we left ice-9's grip, for some reason.

And very few rules controlling them or the users.

One are two may be all we need, but we have 7 :)

Well, in any case, if it makes nay difference whatsoever, we almost never use our admin powers (I sure don't). Last time I used my admin powers was...hell, I don't think I've used em since the UBB when I needed to put up avatars.
