The biggest news: Yes, it will have a single player mode! That's great to hear... I was really worried that it'd be multiplayer only like the GBA version was, and given that it won't have online play, that 'd make it unplayable for a lot of people again. It's great to hear that that's not the case.

Also, there are indeed some additional levels being added to the game. There'll be two new areas with three levels each, so six new levels. Not bad.

So yeah, this is pretty good for free, for anyone with a DSi or 3DS that is!

Isn't this the Gamecube game? That did have a single player mode.

No, the GBA game, you know, the one they announced would be released free as part of the 25th anniversary of the Zelda series. They retitled the port to add "Anniversary" on the end, fittingly.

The GC one's Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. It's a pretty good game, too, somewhat under-appreciated... it hit just before the current retro-revival, I guess, unfortunately for it.

Adventures is appreciated well enough among the friends I know. Just about all of them agree that Adventures is superior to the original. All it lacks is replay-ability, which is the biggest strength of randomly generated dungeons.

Well, if it's the GBA game, that could be fun, though I wonder how the spinning technique will be unlocked. Eh, it'll probably just be unlocked from the start in this version, or maybe they'll just make it the full GBA game and LTTP will be included.

No, I don't think that they'll be giving away LttP for free. It's just Four Swords, with a single player mode and six levels added.

Eh, okay, still pretty nice for a free download.
