Metal Gear Solid 3 confirmed for E3

After a mass of speculation over the weekend and possible hints as to whether or not Metal Gear Solid 3 would be at the 2003 Electronic Entertainment Expo, a Konami of America representative confirmed for IGN today that the game would indeed be there. As to what form the unveiling will take (be it movie, screenshots, dancing bears, or what have you), Konami still has yet confirm.

I wonder if they'll release it for the GC. If the release date is somewhere around the end of this year, it probably won't be because that is the same release period for Twin Snakes.

I doubt it'll come out this year. I bet they'll just show a video of MGS3 and have Twin Snakes playable so that MGS3 doesn't steal its thunder.

I assumed the new Metal Gear game would have a new add-on to the title instead of "Solid", but oh well. It's all good.
