Quote:Computer and Video Games has discovered that in Star Fox Armada you will be able to take to foot in a third-person perspective. As Fox McCloud or any of the other Star Fox team you will be able to use high-powered, bazooka-like weapons.

Also, multi-player dogfights will take place on land, foot and in tanks with heavy powered weapons. The game is set to feature the classic characters such as Fox McCloud and Slippy the Toad as well as Star Fox Adventures characters.

Cool... ground levels. The question is -- railed shooter where you can move (Sin & Punishment) or 3d action game (JFG, etc)?

Namco...hmmm....I dunno; I wish Rare were still 'round. I never bought nor played Rare's SF title, but I'm fairly sure that it was pretty good, being Rare and all.

Darunia, this is Namco we're talking about. The same Namco that developed the awesome Ace Combat series. Hello? Is anybody up there? They're as perfect for the job as Amusement Vision is for F-Zero.

    And SFA is pretty good.

Oh; I wasn't dissing Namco...I was just saying Rare is...well, RARE! 'Sides, 3rd party support for GC is altogether wanning; I don't know how big of a committment to expect from anyone anymore.

But we are discussing Starfox the SHOOTER series (Armada in particular), not Adventures the Zelda knockoff...

I wonder if this means that "Kat" will be replaced by the cat-chick from SFA now. But Kat was in love with Falco Lombardi and.... WTF AM I TALKING ABOUT???

    I hope it's LAN'd

What of Falco? In SFA he had left the team, wonder if he'll come back for Armada.

Hey, what abbreviation are we gonna use for Armada? SFA could stand for either one.

Bah, I never really liked the game. The last part I got to was crossing through a big blizzard on a wooly mammoth because you couldn't find Tricky. I think by that time, I'd lost interest and moved on to a different game.
