    They added a lot of nice tweaks this time around. Sound card support for Kingdom O' Magic is better, among a lot of other things. Steadily they head towards perfect hardware emulation.

    Awesome, downloaded the new version. DOSBox versions aren't too frequent, but when they do come they're always real improvements...

    So when is dos box shit going to hit version 1? So many years and no RC does not feel me with much confidence.

    It's just a version number ya know. Their standard appears to be "when it is machine perfect", and it isn't there yet since it's a LOT of different bits of old hardware it has to emulate. Each update gets it a little closer, and it's VERY good at what it does. It lacks a GUI, so find your own frontend. I use D-Fend Reloaded.
