Wii Fit is a poor excersize program

According to science anyway, but hey we all know the market dictates reality so if everyone is buying it, it must therefor work, because purchasing power multiplied = the public never makes mistakes in judgement.

I may still pick up a balance board for Punch Out though.

I seem to remember science saying similar things about Brain Training and how well that actually works, that is that it doesn't work as well as they claimed... but it's not surprising in either case, Nintendo definitely overstates what you can accomplish by playing in those games. They want to sell more copies, overall, and SOMEONE probably will actually see that benefit... but of course, exercise programs are all somewhat questionable in terms of long-term benefit for most people, so Wii Fit is in good company really. :)

Different programs show different results. Testing is all it is.

To get all wishy washy and say "everything can be questioned" and to defend Nintendo's dishonest claims as "they are a company after all" isn't very good.
