Today, Nintendo announced that not all Wii Channels will be available from launch.

We know for a fact that Wii will be getting the Photo Channel, Mii Channel and Wii Shop Channel.

But, Nintendo has stated that Wii will get the Forcast Channel on the 20th of December, while the News Channel will arive on the 27th of January next year.

Nothing was said about the Internet Channel (Opera Wii) but we can assume that it will be available as Opera said it will be available right from launch, and it should be available through the Shop Channel.

I'm not surprised at all... the actual online "gaming" part has been delayed to next year, so why not the channels too? It's not like this "Internet" thing is technology anyone cares about!
