They leave you with a positive feeling about it, but in that sort of noncommital way review sites are famous for.

At any rate, the actual information they provide is interesting. For a while, the game seems to be pretty linear (which I don't like, but then again Earthbound was pretty linear as well through most of it). The story actually seems to be much deeper than Earthbound, and compelling. However, it is still wacky as ever.

It seems as though they haven't yet beaten the game from the way they talk about it though.

At any rate, can't wait to see them announce that US release. I mean, they BETTER release it over here, after NOT releasing the compilation package for so long. (I dream of a preorder deal where you get that special Mother 1&2 game, but that is but a dream at this point...)

Announce US release... I hope, but after their refusal to release Earthbound 1&2, I'm not so sure...

And as for 'first party GBA games they haven't released here', I'd first like to see KuruKuru Kururin and its sequel, Magical Vacation, and the Legend of Starfi games (a Nintendo platformer, in a series with four games now, and we've got NONE of them? Cruel!)... though if it doesn't come over here Earthbound 3 would also be on that list.

Ahaha! That third pillar thing was only for JAPAN silly! Nintendo has a firm 0 pillar policy here in the states!

They mentioned nothing of the LEVEL the pillars sit on, but if there's a nonexistant pillar, I suppose technically it isn't underground either.

Is this the same Mother that I was to wait for when it came out on 64DD?

Well, it's the version of Mother 3 they started making after the N64 version was finally given up on...

Maybe they'll release all three games as one package...

    YEAH!

    ...

Though unfortunatly there's no reason to think they are actually doing that. I do engage in fantasy now and again though...
