Quote:Another Code: Two Memories (24th June)

Another Code: Two Memories utilises the unique Nintendo DS features, such as the touch-screen and microphone, to put players in the middle of one of the most gripping adventures they will ever experience! In Another Code: Two Memories players take control of Ashley, a young girl who gets a message to meet her long-lost father on a mysterious island. When she arrives her father is nowhere to be seen and Ashley begins to suspect something is wrong. As players explore the island in search of Ashley's father, strange things start to happen and they are thrust into the middle of a sinister plot.

Players control the game using the touch-screen to interact with their environment in a similar way to PC-based 'point and click' adventures, combining tricky puzzles with a gripping storyline to make this a must-have game.

Yeah, saw this yesterday... look on the bright side, this means that at least there'll be an English version out there...

Yes, this is terrific news. But I have no doubt that it'll get a US release. Remember, Nintendo is willing to release more different kinds of games for the DS than they have for any other system. They want to reach a different crowd.

That would be awesome, but I'd bet July or something. We're already getting a few big DS games in June, I think. Kirby and what else?

Europe? The world's rainy place that sucks? What have they EVER offered to modern civilization? EVER? NOTHING, that's what!

    ...

Anyway, does anyone know if the DS has a region lockout system or not? I would assume it doesn't, but I don't know for certain. If Another Code ends up NOT being released here, I'll just plain import it from Europe.

I've heard somewhere that it doesn't have region lockout, but I don't know for sure.

Meteos, Bomberman, Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, and Space Invaders Revolution are all coming out in the DS here in June.

Does PSP have regions? Or just for movies? I'm still not clear on that... I know DS has no lockout, though.

Those movies... Sorry, portability is not worth not being able to expect a player to be within 5 meters of me no matter what building I'm in (which is just as good). Custom format movies... Ugh... You know, standardization is something you work TO, not away from Sony.

Even if I had a PSP I wouldn't buy any UMD movies.

Yeah, it's kind of stupid... movies that only work on a PSP? Those GBA cartoon episodes are just as bad...

Actually they're a lot worse, because the quality is terrible.

But really, I don't care. All you need is a decently-sized memory stick for all of your PSP movie-watching needs.

Nothing beats watching Fight Back to School under a tree at campus! :D

I'll probably get a big memory card so I can upload some of the stuff on my computer to it and then watch it on the road.
