I for one am watching TV and just relaxing. That's what I do on the weekends. I'm more of a private person, so I don't tend to find it fun to go "clubbing" or anything of the sort. It just bores me. I'm not putting it down or anything. I'm just saying that some people prefer solitude over the company of strangers. Others prefer the fun of interacting with a lot of different personalities to just hanging around alone. It's not a BAD thing to want solitude, or "sad" or "pathetic" or anything of the sort, nor is it a bad thing to want to socialize. It's just that there are some pretty different people in the world, and I'm of the sort that prefers a small circle of friends whom I don't really find it needed to constantly be around and I prefer my solitude a lot of the time.

I've never gone clubbing before. But I have been to plenty of parties... kind of tame ones, though. And I like to talk to people. And play ping pong. Solo ping pong isn't very fun.

I prefer the solitude and relative quite of my room to a noisy nightclub or wild party. I'm just not much of party person, and I'd rather be alone at night to prowl the darkened house at will than to do anything "wild".
The hum of computer fans and the glow of a monitor are plenty enough excitement for me on a Saturday night. :)

Where I live it does, for the most part anyway. Very few people go out that aren't involved in the old ten movie cliches. If it was otherwise I might go out more, but then again maybe I wouldn't. I'm just not the kind of person who like to go out at night, I'm out a lot during the day on the weekends, but the night is different for me.

RURAL Oklahoma sucks, well actually most of it does. But if you can get to a major town you should be alright. I can't wait until I graduate from college, so I can move to a suburb of Dallas and make like a town of money and do all kinds of crazy [but still moral] things.

I think it's pretty damn funny that OB1 was asking what's wrong with the people that post here on Saturday night, in the form of a post, on a Saturday night (damn the excuses). Haha, the ironing is delicious.
I have no reason for posting here at ass-o'clock on a Saturday except that I just got home from a night o' poker and drinking (OB1 thinks he's the only person who attends social gatherings) and that I'm still pretty drunk and need to get to sleep quick. What does that have to do with me posting at 2 am Sat night? Hell if I know. Can't wait to read this post tomorrow.

Well, it's now Monday. I had to work on the Sunday at 12. I finished work at about 10.30pm Saturday night and walked home. Logged onto the internet and various websites (including TC) when my housemate asked me if I wanted to go out drinking at the pub next to my work. So I agreed and got dressed and we walked back down. I had about 6 or 7 Bourban n' Coke's and had a great time. We went back to another friends house (well, we're not really friends but we used to work together). This is the guy that invited both of us out in the first place. We went there, he went to bed, so I made a bowl of cornflakes (in a saucepan) filled it with milk, maple syrup and chocolate sauce and left it there. We stole a couple of silly hats and walked home. I then logged back onto the internet (still intoxicated) and chatted to some friends and posted at some forums until about 4am when I went to bed. Woke up at 9:30am got ready for work and walked back down ready to start at 12.
Overall, the night ended up being more fun than I anticipated, though the Bourban certainly was responsivle for enlivening what would have been an otherwise boring night. Normally I would like going out and socialising with friends and it would be fun without the aid of alcohol (though still enhanced), but there weren't so many people here this night, just my housemate and the guy I used to work with.. along with dozens of other strangers al drinking and having fun. Anyhow, that's why I was posting at TC on my Saturday night. :)
If i had a dollar for every time i ran out of hair in the middle of a spoon making contest id only eat your children with a side of slaw and THOSE ARENT PILLOWS!!

Marmite?
I love Vegemite, Marmite is a rip-off. And there's NOTHING better to go on a sandwich than vegemite. My favorite is vegemite and cheese, melted. But just plain butter and vegemite is nice, too. You can never have it plain, the taste is too strong.

The only person here who gets laid on a regular basis is Weltall, and he wants to clean the diarhea off Helen Hunt's ass with his hands. go figure. I myself post here because I love it. I love it on Monday morning, I love it on Thursday afternoon and I love it on Saturday night. And if that makes me a loser (it does) then so be it, i'm perfectly comfortable with that. Just remember that I'm a loser with a HUGE sandwich.
