But if SOA 2 does happen I doubt it'll come out for the 'cube. For some inane reason, Sega has all but completely dropped GC support even though their best-sellers over the past few years have been GC releases. I just don't understand them. Their XB software sells the worst yet they support that console more than the GC.

Yeah, I've noticed that... it doesn't make much sense, that's for sure. Now their strong PS2 support makes sense, but X-Box above Gamecube? Huh? For an American company it'd be more sensible (where X-Box would clearly provide more revinue than GC), but Sega's X-Box titles aren't exactly the best selling ones...

All of the Sonic games sold better on the GC than the PS2 and XB versions combined. And the Monkey Balls sold very well on the GC, yet only the PS2 and XB are getting the Deluxe version. Nice, eh?

That's Sega logic for you. They're even worse than Nintendo.

They do seem to be lacking some basic sense, yes... but the continued failure of their consoles should hint to problems there...

On the Nintendo note, their shares went up today and some say it could be because of Sony's somewhat lackluster showing at TGS. :)

Sales of Sega's titles on the Xbox have been horrible. Panzer Dragoon Saga, Sega GT, Shenmue, and some of their lesser-known titles all sold terribly while Sega's games on the GC sold amazingly well. And yet the Xbox lots of Sega games and GC gets almost none. Thanks a lot, Sega.

I'm still angry about the whole "Let's only release 5000 copies of Panzer Dragoon Saga...FOR THE FANS!!" thing. Stupid, Sega. That and "Let's release Shenmue 2 on the Xbox and wait years to do it...FOR THE FANS!!".
