If you look at the style selection at the bottom you'll notice two new styles.

You have the TC6 High Noon, which is the Red and White, the Midnight, which is Red and Black, and each one has a Classic edition, which has the layout from the previous forum design (avatar/post count on a sidebar instead of a vertical topbar).

Before anyone says so, yes, I know there is a slight vertical alignment problem with long posts. I'm trying to isolate the bit of code that controls that particular alignment setting.

Anyway, now you traditionalists can cease SOME of your whining. :)

I'll stick with the vBulletin 3 style with the top bar myself.

High Noon Classic looks the best, IMO.

Yes, Classic is best. Oh, and I prefer 'High Noon' to Midnight... I like the red and white better than red and black. :)

Good eye, you are absolutely correct, it is the same.

Yeah we desperately need those back. But everything else is terrific, Weltall.

I used 3.0 for so long not just because it looks best but because it has those really great massive forum-link buttons on the sides of the 'go to forum list' big button in the center top. I love that. (oh and the Emul forum link button is nice too...)

I miss Tendocity Black.

I like Midnight the most. But black and red is also my absolute favorite color scheme, so that's probably why. And I am going to stick with the new layout instead of going back to classic. I actually like it a lot.

Looking through the options... hey, how about enabling Quick Reply? They have it on at Nintendorks and I think it's great... without the editor toolbar, though. It'd be best that way.

And how about the smilie box? Is it possible to make it three rows like before (and longer too...)? And we really need to choose which ones are in it... the ones there are still not exactly the most useful ones.

Quick Reply doesn't have most of the formatting options, but they'd probably take up too much space (or slow it down too much) so it's better without them. If you want smilies you don't know, post a normal reply. :)
