Okay, so it may be a long time till E3 2004, but that won't stop me from making a countdown about it!

Things that will be shown at E3:

    -Mario 128 [playable]
    -Zelda game [playable]
-N2005 possibly with games [not playable]
-New Square game for GC [possibly playable]
    -A surprise game [playable]
    -Metroid Prime 2 [playable]

    Estimated time till E3 2004: 249 days

Well Miyamoto said that we'll definitely be getting a new GC Metroid and Zelda game next year (hopefully they won't call it 'Metroid Prime 2', which would be stupid since Metroid Prime is actually Metroid 1.5), so I expect to see those two games next E3. I don't know about Mario 128. I hope that we'll see it next E3 but you never know with Nintendo.

Not so sure about the N2005. I doubt we'll actually see it... if they've even finished by then... but we should get some rumors at least. As for games, Metroid Prime 2 (the likely title, I'm sure...), yeah... and probably Mario and Zelda. After that, I really don't know... other than that it'll also include any currently-announced games that get delayed past May. :)

We may not see the next home Nintendo console, but I'll bet you we see the next Game Boy.

The next GB... yeah, that does sound a lot more likely, given how that'll be coming out a lot sooner than the next Nintendo home console... though they may not press it a lot so as to not hurt the GBA too much, I don't know.

If Nintendo is smart they'll show off their next Gameboy, or at the very least announce specs and show a demo or two. The PSP will launch at the end of 2004 so Nintendo doesn't have time to sit on their asses with this.

I think Nintendo said that their new GB was going to come out around the same time as the PSP or at least that they wanted it to, so I expect that they'll have something about it.

Did Nintendo actually say that? I only remember them saying that they'll have something to combat the PSP, but that's it. Who knows what it'll be. Missiles to detroy PSP factories, perhaps?

They haven't really announced a timeframe for the next Game Boy, but they have said the PSP will not have much of a head start, if it has a head start at all.

Maybe they'll release the Gameboy Advance SP +, with the + standing for the inclusion of a headphone jack!

Yeah, and that should say that it'll be sometime in 2005, which means announcement in '04. E3 is the clear choice.
