Wow, this very impressive-looking GBA game sure came out of nowhere! From IGN:

    Quote:August 28, 2003 - A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Actually, it was in California, about two months ago. That's when THQ announced that it would be bringing a brand new Star Wars title to the Game Boy Advance system. Flight of the Falcon, the company promised, would give players the opportunity to pilot the famous Millenium Falcon across the Empire-controlled space in several nailbiting missions.

That's all well and good, but how's it look? We finally scored the first screenshots of the game in action, and it's looking quite hot, thank you very much.

In development at Pocket Studios, this 3D-based flight combat game will put players in the cockpit of not only the Millenium Falcon, but also an X-Wing, Landspeeder...even a Speederbike from Return of the Jedi. Players will be able to battle against Tie Fighters, Star Destroyers, even Boba Fett's Slave 1 ship. Players will even get a chance to take out both Death Stars from Star Wars: A New Hope and Return of the Jedi.

The game's set for release this November. Hopefully these first screens will "Tie" you over until then. Har har. --

Wow, that looks awesome...going to be pushing the GBA as far as its processors will take it. I hope it runs smoothly, and it looks as though it's going to be really hard ...

it looks like they ported rogue leader to the GBA, obviously losing graphical detail in the process. but it's got the star destroyer, the trench run, and a bespin level.

    it is quite nice looking.

None of the GB, GBC, or GBA SW games have really been worth getting. The one I have (Super Return of the Jedi) is decent, but not as good as the SNES version, not even close... maybe this one will change that, though.
