    From GAF:

Quote:Playmore's Metal Slug Advance has been announced as having a street date of September 26 in Japan. This is the first time the series has graced Nintendo's handheld, so players who are unfamiliar with Metal Slug are in for a treat, as are the seven people who purchased the Metal Slug games for SNK's ill-fated Neo Geo Pocket Color.

If past titles in the Metal Slug series are any indicator, this game will be an awesome old-school 2D shoot-'em up spritefest. With so many fans of the shooter genre on the GAF staff, we'll be covering this one closely, so when more news becomes available (like... screenshots?), we'll get it to you ASAP.

I'm pretty sure Playmore mentioned it this year.

    Yes, they did.

Coming for Neo-Geo this year from Playmore/SNK... SNK Vs Capcom, Metal Slug 5, King of Fighters 2003... maybe one more.

For PS2, we're getting ports of KOF 2001, KOF 2002, and probably Metal Slug 4 for old games, as well as SNK Vs Capcom this year.

SNK Vs Capcom also might come out for X-Box... not sure about other X-Box titles. Nothing for Cube, though. They said they might start developing for Nintendo once it releases its next console, though... and of course in Japan they're still supporting the Dreamcast.

SNK is also working on 3D Metal Slug and KOF games... for PS2, I assume. I don't know when they are supposed to come out, either...

Oh, and yeah, there's the second GBA KOF game coming very soon, and the new Metal Slug Advance game... and maybe a portable version of SNK Vs Capcom for GBA.

Nice, I'm definitely gonna get that next GBA KoF game. I can't find the first one anywhere and my copy of Guilty Gear Advance isn't all that great. Sure it was only $10, but still... I want KoF. A GBA version of SNK vs. Capcom would be even better.

I've heard the GBA KOF is okay... but the second one should be better than the first.

Oh, and Metal Slug Advance... its GOT to be a must-get game...

I've heard great things about KOF ex. I'm tempted to buy it at gamestop since it's only $15, but I think I'll wait for the sequel. It's coming out this year, right?
