So I had a thought. Remember all those playsets of the 80's, like the Cat's Lair from Thundercats or the Technodrome from Ninja Turtles? Why didn't Capcom ever bother making a Dr. Wily's castle playset? Imagine all the little boys that would have bought that thing.

Capcom isn't the best at merchandising their series'.

That said, I'd have bought one. Hell, I'd buy one now :D

There are now over 10 versions to pick from. The whole setup when you get to that castle just screams "turn me into a giant kid's toy". Lift up the claws to find the Wily Cycle (they always made toy motorcycles for things, whether or not the characters involved ever used one), or open it up to find robot masters and various room full of nerf spikes! Buy the slime and poor it into this clear mold to get the Yellow Devil! Pull back the skull to find Dr. Wily inside his UFO! Push the button on the back to wiggle his eyebrows! Fire the cannons from the eyes and turrents! Spin the satellite dish! Push the buttons on the back to "blow open" walls to reveal the cage and rescue Roll! Use the remote to activate the sound effects! *Boom, whoosh, teleport, gun sound, Wily alien sound* Buy it now. BUY IT NOW!

*Uses 8 D batteries, not included.

I think the problem is that when you were done playing with it, it would explode in a huge, skull-shaped mushroom cloud. Probably injured the test groups.

That only happened a few times!
