    Awesomeland?

I mean, anywhere where the Yankees are losing is that of course... :)

I'm more interested in the Giants-Phillies race though, I really want the Giants to win... as I said they're my second favorite team after the Red Sox, and haven't won the World Series since the 1950s. I know the Rangers have never won, but I don't like them much anyway so oh well. :)

Oh yeah, and the AL's the better league. Beyond the fact that the Red Sox are in the AL, the AL also has a 61-43 World Series championship advantage... yes, the Yankees' 27 is a big part of that, but still.

Awesome to see the Yankees go down... but as for the Rangers winning, let's hope the Giants can follow suit tomorrow!

Some people at least thought the Rangers had a chance against the Yankee [although not too many people thought they'd actually make it THAT far], but I don't think anyone really gave the Giants a shot at all.

That's true. In ESPN's predictions, all of their experts predicted the Phillies to win their series, but one or two said the Rangers (while all the others said the Yankees would win). Still, both were definite underdogs...

And yeah, now the Giants are the underdogs again, and the Rangers are favored. We'll see. :)

I admit the Rangers look pretty good, but the Giants have done amazingly well so far... hopefully they can keep it up! It would be pretty amazing to see the Giants actually win a world series...

Wow, that was an interesting game... 11-7, with Linceum and Cliff Lee pitching? Who'd have predicted that... it's fantastic that the Giants won, though, a good start. They gave up a few more runs than I'd like (how often will they score 11...), but Lee did even worse, and the pitching on both sides was bad. I wonder how long the Giants offense can keep this up, but all they need is either that or for their pitching to improve again, they do have the better pitching staff.

Anyway, a good start, and a pretty wild game. (I mean, beyond the score, 4 errors for the Rangers and 2 for the Giants? Crazy...)

    Rofl Lol

    9-0, Giants.

The Rangers bullpen is so, so bad... four straight walks that walked in two runs, allowing seven runs with two out in the eighth... Rofl

And a shutout from the Giants pitchers, too. The Rangers starter was good, though not good enough, but their relievers... Rofl

I hope the Giants hurry up and win. I'm tired of having sports media share time with two non-football sports nobody cares about.

What, do you say that stuff just to annoy me because you know I don't like football and consider it the worst (and least interesting) of the five major American team sports, or something?

Well, it works. This is a baseball thread, make your own thread for football.

Bah, the Rangers won. Well, the Giants still have the advantage, and to win the Rangers will have to win something in the Giants' stadium... the Rangers are now 0-11 all-time in AT&T Park, evidently. :)
