Nico - ICO 2?
Thanks to Blue Eyes of the Meristation Spanish Forums, we can bring you shots from one of Sony Computer Entertainment's internal development demoes. The screens show a game called Nico, a work that bears a remarkably strong resemblance to the beloved and under-appreciated PlayStation 2 game, ICO. Details are currently frustratingly scarce regarding this right now; this game may, in fact, have no relation to ICO at all. One thing is for certain: it's from the same people that brought us the PS2 adventure. Things will certainly be cleared up at this year's Electronics Entertainment Expo. You know GAF will be there, and you know we'll have the details first. Stay tuned.

ICO (or something like it) is coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is now my most-anticipated game of the year!! Please let it come out this year, Sony!!!

Man, you have no idea. Have you ever played ICO before? It's one of my favorite games of all-time, and there was just a little bit of hope that a sequel would arrive.

I played the ICO demo once a year ago for a little while.

Dude, you can't just play a demo of the game. That's like watching the first two minutes of Citizen Kane and leaving it at that.

That game isn't for everyone, however. It'll either blow you away and bring you into a incredibly stunning and immersive fantasy world or leave you feeling "eh". Some people just won't "get it".

Demos are usually good representations of a game's gameplay... not usually of its depth, complexity, or challenge, but of its gameplay. I don't remember it all that well, though... it was a while ago and I didn't play it for long... not exactly a problem I can fix without a PS2...

Trust me, the demo is nothing compared to the final game.

You may like it though since you're a fan of PC adventure games. The puzzles are similar in many ways.

ICO and Yorda might not be in the sequel, which is fine by me. It would be great if they made a new game set in the ICO world.
