I hadn't heard of it. I simply thought it was funny. I liked the style.

It was kind of fun watching the clips afterwards. The game apparently covers the entire movie.

Well I finally found some answers myself since GR's decided to be as unhelpful as he can possibly be. Apparently it IS a meme, an "internet famous" amateur movie (thank all that is sacred it's not a professional thing) known for being aweful. Finally, an explanation!
