... Nintendo, hasn't that huge profit cut you got in the first half of this year taught you ANYTHING? The "We failed to release anything new that really caught consumer interest in the second half of 2008, and that hurt us" or whatever?

But no, it's business as usual, release lists with no dates, lots of games with improbable release dates on them, seeming plans for more games that get announced just weeks before they are released and then are never marketed (shocking the world when they don't sell well!), and lots of titles currently not scheduled for a US release? Awesome.

It took ten years for Nintendo to realize the folly of using proprietary media. You think they were going to turn this around in just a few weeks?

    roffles.

They're slowing down because they're going to announce WiiHD to 'reinvigorate' because 'Wii cant deliver the gameplay experiences and blah blah hook line and sinker, now you're playing with profit, 1080p, individual mustache hairs and backwards compatible."

I'm really curious though if it'll be a new hardware or just an add-on to the Wii. Are we gonna see a similar shift like GC to Wii? ... new Zelda on Wii but get it on Wii2 to play it in 1080p?
