I'm not sure how true it is, and there's not much information, but according to Nintendorks.com, Miyamoto is making one more game and then heading out the door, never to return.

The last game he should make should either be Mario or Zelda. I lean towards Zelda myself. Though knowing him, when the time comes when he actually does want to retire, it'll be like 5 games that'll be his last games. As of late doing just ONE game isn't something he does.

I'd want Miyamoto's last game to be "Super Mario Forever". :D

BTW, anyone know where Eek came from? It seems likes I'm seeing him all over the net these days...

He has SPREAD? Edenmaster created shocked shiggy, as a result of our various shiggytations. Weltall started the trend.

So, TC has spread it's influence throughout cyberspace eh? Perfect, the plan is going exactly as..... planned...

Hahaha. I posted it in a thread about the smilies over at Kid Tendo, but nobody ever said anything about it. I don't think they like me for some reason. I wonder if that started it.

Didn't either geoboy or big guy (I get the two confused all the time) make it with his recently illegally acquired Adobe Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro software? I'm 100% certain it was one of them... since when has the smiley leaked to other messageboards? I always saw it as a Tendo City trademark...

Well I've seen it used several times by different people on the Gaming-Age board and it seems to have spread to Europe.

Some of us, such as LL, obviously decided to put it in a post on other message boards. From there, the hilarity of it hit and many others spread it further linking to even more message boards. Shiggy isn't quite global, but it's international now.

Now, let's get it into Japan! Some of you MUST have access to some Japanese message board. Just post him in there. Wait for some responses (totally unintelligable as they will be) then just post all our shiggy pictures. Eventually, ol' Miyamoto himself shall see them, and then phase one of our bid for power will be completed!

Unbelieveable! As much as I'd like to take credit for creating the now-famous Shiggy, I did not create it. I DID create Spinny Shiggy, but not the shocked Shiggy.

Weltall, find our Shiggy thread inthe pile of dead UBB threads and find the one where the Shocked Shiggy was unveiled. Then, we can demand royalties from all those who use it!

I'm telling you... it was geoboy who created it. He started the thread where he revealed it, too, if my memory serves right. Coincidentally, he also created a grinning shiggy smiley, and said it should get its own spot instead of replacing the normal grin smiley (:D ). It never got picked up on, though... meh.

No no, having it spread is a GOOD thing! It's all part of our eventual rule of Earth. Ruling Earth is a big step in our bid for universal conquest.

    Yeah, we need the pics!

Doesn't Weltall still have ALL the data from the old site on his PC? I know he gave up uploading it at the time, but I'm sure he kept it all just in case a better upload method came along since we DO all need our history. With that in mind, he should have all the pics too, and thus we can actually take a look at this thread the proper way.

No, I wasn't the first. I think that Sacred Jellybean is right, geoboy created it. The first thread ever to contain Shiggies was the "Shigeru Miyamoto has gone insane" thread, and when the Shiggy craze had reached it's peak, I created the "The Shiggy Awards!" thread. So look to the "insane" thread (aptly named) for it's first usage.

The pictures all have different URLs from http://www.tendocity.net. That's why they don't work. Right click to see the image properties. The smilie is called eek.

The only problem is that by EMs usage, it was already a smilie. Hmm...

I've been trying to remember when exactly scared Shiggy was first introduced and by whom, but I just can't remember. It's been too long and I've slept [many times] since then.

I still think we should sue!! People are using our scared Shiggy smilie in their evil money-making schemes and that must be punished by public humiliation! Or by paying directly to my numbered Swiss bank account...

I'd be willing to bet money that the Emo-shiggy was first introduced in the second or third page of the "Shigeru Miyamoto has gone insane" thread. I suggest Whitey clean up that page and see if he can find it.

Why did that old thread archive Weltall was working on go away or something?

And, uh, what's the link to the admin part of the site (is that and the FTP seperate? I don't know)... I forget the link, or I might do something, if I knew what to do...

Oh, and using the Rumble City Archives (I know, this thread isn't there, but still...) would be much easier if I didn't have to change almost every address from tendocity.net to tcforums.com first... :)
