Seems like an insignificant detail to me. There are plenty of other good reasons to hate John McCain.

    Elitists!

Elite means "good" by the way.

I want people who know more than I do. I'm sick of people saying "I'm not a scientist" like it's a good thing. It's not!

And yet that was pretty much Bush's platform in 2000... "Vote for me, I'm a stupid average person, not a smart person like Gore is!"

And it worked just well enough. :(

Not just the chicken fingers, but the old ratty chicken fingers from the bottom of the steel basket that would probably have salmonella if they weren't so brown from being kept heated for so long.

Oh, and he's a real asshole, too. He's better than Guilianni and virtually every other Republican candidate, and I had respect for him when he was actually a "maverick" and not a sad spectacle of a man who has compromised his integrity so many times in the past 4-8 years to mold himself into the model Republican candidate who is following in Bush's foot steps but still somehow trying to capitalize upon the "change" hype that has the nation swept up without giving enough specifics on how his platform will be run differently than his predecessor.

Hay guys, bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran!~!@!!! :FuckYou: Jackass.

McCain's switched so dramatically on so many issues in the past four or five years that it's really easy to do videos like that, isn't it...

The DNC is not really taking advantage of all the free ammunition John Mclame is giving them.

That being said your election is once again a choice between the lesser of the two douche bags that being Obama.

Yeah, Obama seems to have done his share of flip-flopping, but it doesn't have anywhere near the depth of McCain's compromise of integrity. I don't know why the Democrats aren't playing that up. Maybe they're trying to help run a more clean campaign as Obama has purported. I don't see what's unclean about pointing out hypocrisy, though. The man has gone against two of his own sponsored bills (one of them being immigration, the other being campaign finance reform). That's just the tip of the ice berg of his voting record being inconsistent with his rhetoric today.

I highly doubt that the same people who are trying to slap conspiracies about "Obama" being a closeted Muslim are going to play fair.

I think Obama should go all or nothing, The reputation and future of America and the free world are at stake. A Idealist Black President could reverse the unpopularity of America across the world, Further redeem America from its racist past and recent indiscretions .

George Bush reelection in 2004, Shattered all remaining faith people abroad had for americans to make the right decision. Although John Kerry is largely to blame for running a abysmal campaign, but Those who voted to reinstate bush are also a shame to your country! May Hades hurl them into Tartarus ! For they should be eternally sodomized and Bukkake on by the other residents of purgatory.

Like many liberals I am very annoyed at Obama's FISA reversal, but... what can you do? Support him anyway, that's all. But I think he deserves the heat he's getting for changing his opinion on it, telcom giants to NOT deserve legal immunity for their crimes in helping the Bush administration break the law.

It's rather depressing really... It's like having done all he can to "win" the votes for the democrats by beating Hillary, he's decided to do an about-face to win over as many republicans as he can. The goal isn't to actually do what's right, but to be "electable", a thing I've always considered deplorable. The attempt will ALWAYS corrupt a politician, always.

So far, at least he's still preferable, but it's another lesser of two evils scenario if this keeps up.

And, if a candidate that is actually honest does emerge, and his policies truly reflect what I think would be good, I won't hesitate to vote. If someone doesn't vote for someone because "they think they won't win", well way to continue a vicious cycle idiot! That's like littering because "well my one cup isn't going to save the world".

Your democracy is in a very sad state, Your only a hair length away from the style that Moscow is running.

Fox news is the Joseph Goebbels news network

It is foolish for Obama to grab the "fundie doomsday vote", Those who follow Pat Robertson /John Hagee crowd want Armageddon not "peace". Nobody has said shit about John McCain own version of Reverend wright "John Hagee".The man that said that god created Hurricane Katrina to punish America for supporting the Israeli pull out of Gaza.He also called Catholicism the great "whore".

Certain segments of American society need immediate psychiatric treatment. Every member of ZOA
