In one of those really weird marketting decisions, Bethesda is releasing a free content pack for Oblivion containing a fighter-based castle to obtain. I just thought I'd let GR know he'd better download it off of XBox Live because it's only free for like a week.

I'm out of town at the moment, but I'll be back tomorrow and I'm looking forward to grabbing it. I've fallen out of Oblivion as of late and something new might get me back to Cyrodiil for a bit.

It's always fun to add more. I still recall turning off the invisible walls in the game and travelling to parts beyond, incomplete parts that after a long journey turn into completely flat endless wastes, TERRIFYING in their nature, ending in a sheer drop to NOTHING, the stuff that nightmares are made of. Seriously I think I found my phobia, really big emptiness. For some reason the idea of being in the middle of a really large bowl one lightyear across terrifies me.

That's called Kenophobia. You'd think it'd be a fear of losing money in a casino.

Anyway, what really interests me is the taxidermy collection, if only for the sheer coolness of it. Many of my stats are high, and my Armorer is high enough that I can repair magical items and that is, really, as high as I work it. After that, it's all incidental points from repairs.

But using that Dwemer Forge may get my armor that 125% armor rating I love so well. But...what to do? All the Oblivion Gates are closed, a good many of the sidequests are completed, and all that's left is random caves...

Oh! I never finished the Fighters Guild! Or Shivering Isles! I'll be fine.

I assume you have the PC version. In that case there's plenty of major content mods in the works.
