I found an FTP server that has the complete Cowboy Bebop soundtrack collection, and complete collections for a few other animes and games, including Evangelion, Chrono Cross, Shenmue and Saint Seiya.

    IP: 211.92.56.244
    PASS: music

Download away. Be aware that some of the filenames are in Japanese, as this is a Japanese server, and you'll probably want to change them.

Just so you know, IE (since version 6 anyway) has FTP support built right in. When you go to an FTP site in explorer, it automatically turns the window into a windows explorer style interface, with drag and drop support and everything. When you view properties of files, you can set all the standard FTP permissions, like viewing or executing access. When you first visit the FTP site, you are asked for a password or anonymous logon. IE is what I use for TC's FTP. It may not have a lot of super advanced features, but if you want a free FTP browser it's as good as it gets.

ABF, that's because you typed in the address without adding "FTP://" in front of it. Do that and IE goes into FTP mode (since it finds the FTP site at that address). Don't put in just the straight address up there or it will probably just load the http site by default if it has one (which apparently it does).

All FTP sites will go to FTP mode if you type in the address with "FTP" in front of it, so long as that site HAS an FTP server to access at that address. I prefer using native abilities to downloading extra stuff, which is why I first suggested using IE's (or Netscape's, if it has it built in) FTP abilities. Oh well, you got it to work. Um, wait, why am I encouraging this? I'm a fat enabler! No!
