Kind of a thin Wii lineup here, beyond Zelda...

    What's with the question marks?

Sad, indeed. I don't plan on getting a Wii right away, though, so this doesn't bother me.

...what on earth is Wii play? And where's Trauma Center Wii (can't remember the actual name)? I thought that was a launch title, or at least close to one.

That's just Nintendo-published titles. Trauma Center is an Atlus game.

As for Wii Play, it's another minigame compilation. It's a launch game in Japan and Europe, but this is the first time it's shown up on a US release list... in Japan it's packed with a Wiimote (but not a Nunchuck). Air hockey, some other stuff...

Yes, so the "Wii am for minigames" people have a point: look at the early lineup! Rayman Raving Rabbids, Mario Party 8, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and WarioWare are minigame collections, and Super Monkey Ball: Bananna Blitz has a lot of minigames in it as well as the normal Monkey Ball gameplay part... of course, on the other hand, each of those games is completely different, but even so, so many all early on?

Japan is getting Fire Emblem in February, but that'll take a while to translate...

    Didn't know that.

That's also a mini-game collection? Disappointing... from the trailer, it looked like another platformer, like Rayman 2. Oh well.

    Yeah, Wario Ware for sure.

I've never been a huge Maio Party fan, but I might check out 8 since it, unlike 2-7, has the potential to not be it's predecessor plus a few extra minigames. With the Wii, it could be totally new.

Hopefully Super Mario Galaxy and MP3 hit before mid-year '07.

I'm hoping the next Mario Party game has online play.

Nintendo's Wifi network should be up by then, so there's no reason why it wouldn't have online play. And a game like Mario Party would be a great game to showcase their online component.

Damn you! I was going to make the MP3 joke!

Brawl won't be out until Q3 or later, sadly :(.

Yeah, more than likely it be released after summer so that Nintendo's big releases don't get crammed together.

It's probably still well in production. I don't think the slow trickle of new characters announced to is build anticipation, I think they're showing them as they finish and implement them :D.
