I dont know about you but I think having anything remotely Crescent moon shaped is a horrible idea "the terrorist and radicals" will use to mock and taunt the victims.
We should be stabbing sword on the radicals responsible for the terrorist attack on 9/11 not paying homage to them.

My idea is somthing to demonstrate where both the victims and villains of the atroscity are right now in the afterlife , Heroic passengers on top in heaven as saintly angels in the upper levels Each Idol statue of the victims , Will have details about his/herself life, Loved Ones ,Victims carved statues Will be as close to likeness as possible.
Hijackers will be losers stuck in the underground basement of such a memorial temple with some hollywood style flame torches scorching statues of the terrorists, having Demons and Daevas porking them with pitch forks sodomizing them. To give a life like demonstration to the world of what will happen to murderous sons of bitches.
