"Memorize" my playlist? I am aware of what songs are in my playlist, yes, but that's no different than being aware of what albums or soundtracks you have.
I obviously love Bad Religion, most who know me know this (and those who don't can be easily made aware by glacing at my playlist), and I like all their music. The number of songs they've written that I don't like I could count on one hand. So I've got a big list of them. Randomness works for me because, thruthfully, nearly a third of my music is Bad Religion :D so I figure I've got a pretty good shot of landing on one of their songs, and I'll listen and enjoy it. If I want to continue listening to BR, I can simply turn off random and let it go through the songs alphabetically. Same with any other bands in my collection, Green Day, They Might Be Giants, what have you. Even if I'm in a random music mood, if I land on somehting that's not quite in tune with what I want to hear, a new, better song is only a couple clicks away.
I've broken my collection into three groups: Video Game Music, Bad Religion, and everything else :D. But I play them all in one playlist in WinAmp, because my thinking is that if I want to listen to something in particular, it only takes me around 3 seconds to find and play it. I don't wanna have to change folders so I can stop listening to Bad Religion so I can hear son Soul Calibur or Green Day tunes. It just seems like an unnecessary hassle. You're just weird.

The Earthworker Race has ended. Everybody wins.
