New Nintendo.com Poll

A new poll has been posted at Nintendo.com since Jessica Alba took the honors for fan's choice to play the role of Samus in the upcoming Metroid film. This time, Nintendo asks which game of four Japan-only titles we would like localized:

Nintendo Puzzle Collection
GIFTPIA
Fire Emblem
Legend of Stafi
Nintendo Puzzle Collection is a compilation of classic Nintendo Puzzle games including Dr. Mario, Yoshi's Cookie, and Panel de Pon.

GIFTPIA is a collaboration between Nintendo and Skip Ltd (housing two of the creators of Chrono Trigger). The game is a non-traditional RPG focused on a boy coming of age.

Fire Emblem is most likely referring to the announced GBA entry into the Japan-only RPG series. Roy and Marth, characters in Super Smash Bros: Melee, originated in Fire Emblem

And finally, Legend of Stafi. A GBA title deemed to the action genre by IGN, follows the adventure of one of Nintendo's newest characters, a starfish.

I think you also might be able to click on the poll and make it count as a seperate vote as many times as you want. The first time I clicked on Fire Emblem it was at 75.9%, but after roughly thirty or so clicks later it jumped up to 75.92%. Coincidence? Perhaps... but it's worth a try.

This is a really good sign, though. It shows that NOA is at least considering releasing Fire Emblem over here in the states, and since it's in such a great lead perhaps they'll finally get some sense knocked into them and release the damn game.

But what about Magical Vacation? Have they completely abandoned the idea of releasing this excellent RPG over here in the states? Or did they decide to leave it out of the poll because they already plan on releasing it here? Hmmm....
