You see, this is what happens when you mess around with addictive substances!

Thats how I see myself in a few years. Except for the "losing girlfriend" part. We all know I won't have a girlfriend to lose :D.

Poor guy... maybe he needs to go to Gamer's Anonymous... you know, the gaming-addiction offshoot of the AA. It became a needed resource for gamers when EverCrack hit the streets and started devastating lives...

I better not show this to my family. They might get worried because I often referred to the AC characters by name too. They really thought something was wrong when I would wake up at 8 am sharp to collect mushrooms instead of sleeping as long as possible like normal. Thankfully, I was able to quit cold turkey and I'm now recovering.

Haha! I'd be somewhat frightened if your parents actually took this seriously though :D. They would remind me of that chinese newspaper that actually used the Onion as a frickin' news source for some article (it was some joke article that basically said the government fell apart or something). How anyone could go to The Onion and not immediatly realize the whole site is just comedy is beyond me.

Uh, isnt the easier way to deal with time-managed games to just change the GC's clock? It sure was for Rogue Leader...

Oh. Sorry for using sense in this thread... :)

Sure, but that really kills the mood of the game. It's not cheating in my opinion, but really, the whole mood of the game is really boosted by the real time of it all. I mean, looking forward to halloween was supposed to really be SOMETHING. Just skipping to all the holidays just makes it too "gamey" if that's a word and less of an event that you really want to stop in and play. I mean, this is a game that's supposed to be playing whether you are there or not. That's a large part of the charm. In the case of Rogue Leader, clock editing doesn't change the mood at all. In fact, the whole thing about waiting for the right time was actually kinda annoying there, so time switching is pretty much done straight off the bat.

And the only way for me ever to play the Morning time of the level given how I'm never playing games at that time of day...

Even for Animal Crossing? I can see doing it every now and then, but really OB1, I would expect you of all people to want to experience the full fun of the game, and believe it or not, not playing for a long time and realizing some important event is coming up, or just spending your AC days prepairing for an AC event, is a LARGE amount of the fun!
