Yeah, just upload/link the pic you want, provided that it meets the size restrictions (file size and image size).

You change your avatar too damned much anyway.

The only qualm I have with the new TC skins (I have my skin set as TC 6.0 High Noon classic edition) is that the font size of everyone's name is too damned big. Is there any way to change that?

Oh, and now that I check, ASM is right... unless you're supposed to edit your avatar under a different part of the control panel, rather than under "Edit Avatar" :hmm:. Is this always how its been, though?

Hmm... maybe the avatar (and possibly the title too?) have some setting somewhere that on that makes them just accessible to admins...

It ended up being an option, one that was not in VB2 and thus was off by default. It is now restored and should be normal now.

I edited permissions for regular registered members' usergroup. I also found out how to fix that pesky alignment problem for Classic users (making the username/postcount/avatar centered vertically in long posts).

Ah... their organization system is confusing...

Oh, and how about user-selectable titles? Do they work too?

Nice. I would have fixed them if I'd found the options...

It's a special place that only a lucky few even get a short glimpse of.

That is, if you're one of the eight Admins. LL is of course. :)

The six Mods can access the Mod Control Panel from the button on the bottom of the page, BTW, with its much more limited options... but if you have the Admin Control Panel, FTP access (Weltall'll probably tell you if you ask, he did for me), and knowledge of the PHP/MySQL you could do just about anything to the forum if you wanted...

Wow, that is a heck of a lot of options in that admin control panel. I would love to see and play with the code underneath! *has only a small amount of PHP knowledge*

I think the rules say you can only mess with code if you know exactly what you're doing, and if you mess with code and don't know what you're doing you get beaten with bamboo chutes.

    Yes, yes they do...

Oh yeah, but now that you know where the admin panel is you have no excuse to not back up the database every so often. :)

Well, when it comes to existing templates and styles, yes. I would really prefer no one but myself touches them. However, any admin is more than welcome to create a styleset for themselves and do whatever they want within the templates of their styles, as they will not affect the others.

Just... don't go overboard. I don't want to go into the panel one day and see fifty new stylesets. Be reasonable :)
