Does anyone know of an emu for Amiga apps and games? - Sacred Jellybean - 13th January 2003

Yeah, so like, one day, I woke up and said, "Boy, I sure would like to play Hack and Dojo Dan again since my Dad got rid of our awesome cult computer for a PC clone." I never slept again. :snow:

Can anyone help me out?

You know how I found all my emulators and roms? Yup, on the internet. I have a bunch (2.7GB right now...) of roms... all from the net. Sure, it does take a while to go through searchengines and stuff to find the few decent sites, but its the only real way... you've just got to be able to tolerate all the popups (if you don't have a popup killer, which i didnt when i was downloading this stuff).

Anyway, you're lazy and dont want to do it the hard way... thats fine.
WinUAE.

The best Amiga emulator. Unfortunately, it has an... issue. It requires a real Amiga Boot Rom to load, and doesn't come with one... I managed to find one, but don't have that site bookmarked anymore (if I ever did), so I can't help you there. Good luck finding one... and the games, of course.
I guess you will still have to use a search engine. :) Search for Amiga Kickstart Roms.

So you don't still have the kickstart file that you downloaded to send to me? :(

*vows to do as little work as possible*

Thanks for the emulator, though.

Oh, I have a kickstart rom... not many Amiga games, though. I used to have more, but a few months ago deleted them... I remember there was this one site with a lot of Amiga games to download, but haven't looked for it again so you're on your own there.
Anyway, its probably not that hard to find a kickstart rom... just search at yahoo or something (I anyway always use Yahoo).

I appear to have found a kick start ROM... now all I need are the roms to the games themselves. Trailblazer, here I come!
