Pinkerton agents, who aren't legally sanctioned but they ARE brute force sanctioned, threatened their way into this guy's house to steal a product he legally paid for, just to enforce a street date.  The corporations run things now.

Remember, any law who's penalty is a fine is only a law for poor people.  To the rich, it's just a fee.  This isn't about the law though.  It's about a company having Shinra soldiers to enforce the company's will out in the world.

Also, the police are a historically recent invention created to enforce control of slaves.  We didn't need them, as a species, before that.
