Quote:Game Summary

Tetra, the leader of the pirates, has put forth a challenge: Link must race his way through various settings, collecting stamps from Tetra’s pirate cohorts. To rise to the challenge, he will have to use all his exploration and navigation skills. Accepting this hefty task, players search for pirates placed strategically around Pirate Island and receive a stamp from each one as proof that they actually found them. Pirates must be found in the correct order, so players rely upon map information and hints provided by Tetra through the fabled Pirate’s Charm. Up to four players compete to see how many stamps they can collect before time runs out.

Uhh... as long as this isn't Capcom's big Zelda game I'm very happy!

Sounds pretty gimicky.

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers... WTF??!! - OB1 - 13th May 2003

Tell me about it. Isn't Four Swords enough??

So we get no single-player Zelda GBA game from Capcom, just two Gamecube Zeldas that would be better suited on the GBA as a multiplayer mode to a full Zelda game.

This fucking sucks.

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers... WTF??!! - A Black Falcon - 13th May 2003

I would not exactly call them GC Zeldas... well they ARE, but you seem to do more play on the GBA than on the GC so I don't know exactly what to call it. Four Swords at least seems to have a full game on the GC screen... unlike this one.

Hey I think that this could be a fun game if it's really cheap, but aren't you pissed that we're not getting a single-player GBA Zelda from Capcom?

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers... WTF??!! - A Black Falcon - 13th May 2003

Somewhat... this does seem to be less than a full game, unlike Four Swords. It could be long but it seems like a very simple idea... maybe better to have been on just the GBA. We'll see how it turns out.

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers... WTF??!! - OB1 - 13th May 2003

Gah, I am extremely upset that we won't be getting a whole new single-player adventure. The Oracle games were so good.

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers... WTF??!! - A Black Falcon - 13th May 2003

Sure a new game that good would be better... and this does look underwhelming. But I'll withhold judgement until I see/know more. You never know... :)

And it doesn't look THAT bad.

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers... WTF??!! - OB1 - 13th May 2003

Of course it doesn't look bad, but that's besides the point! It's not what we were expecting.

The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers... WTF??!! - A Black Falcon - 13th May 2003

That is true. And it is annoying there are so many connectivity games... I've always thought most would work better one one system or the other... but its what we're getting. And since its Zelda it'll end up good...
