I think it's an old video that just came out now, but maybe someday we'll be able to play this game... it looks great, just like Rare's other N64 3d platformers, including of course the Conker game they did release (after a complete redo). I like the cute theme here, and the two playable characters. I can understand why they changed it, because they'd done three cute 3d platformers on the N64 already, but it's too bad we couldn't have gotten both somehow... anyway, it's a very cool video, watch it.

N64 games were so charming. :)

The final product had more personality, even if only by virtue of how different it was than their previous efforts. It's still cool to see this, of course.

Bad Fur Day was a really fun game, but I'm of the opinion that it would have been a good idea to change the lead character out for some new creation. They already pretty well did that for Berry anyway. After Diddy Kong Racing and Pocket Tales, it kinda led kids into thinking that this one would be right up their alley, which would be a bit misleading.

As it stands, it's a fine game I didn't even pick up for a while.

So what did you think of this video, DJ? But yeah, I agree that keeping Conker despite the major changes was kind of odd, particularly with how Conker's previous appearances hadn't been like that at all. That was part of the point, but it did lead to people being confused about what exactly BFD was.

It looked like the makings of a great game. Although 2 things I didn't like:
1.) Major camera clipping issues. Did any N64 game have a perspective camera? perspective camera's don't clip, they just distort the image around the clipping window which is much better.
2.) Some of the character animations for the the enemies seem to missing frames, like allot of frames.. What's the deal there?

Other than that, I think it could have been a rare masterpiece.

You've got to take into account that, as this point, the game wasn't finished. Both of those problems would likely have been corrected, or at least iron out, during the last few months before it went gold.

Yeah. And I think they should have released this one, darnit...
