NoE wins again - A Black Falcon - 20th June 2011

We hate you, Nintendo of America... it looks like Europe isn't just getting Xenoblade later this year, but The Last Story for 2012 too. It hasn't been announced yet, but it seems like they might actually get it. Of course, there's absolutely no sign that either will get a US release. Mod your Wiis then I guess if you want to play them, unless a miracle occurs...

NoE has a far better release history this gen than NoA does. Before it was always the other way around, but they have very much reversed themselves this time... what the heck, NoA, what's wrong with you...

Of course then there are a bunch of titles that don't come to either region for no apparent reason too, so NoE isn't all better. But still, it does seem to be a little better at actually releasing more games.

NoE wins again - Dark Jaguar - 20th June 2011

That is weird. The game is fully in English now, officially, and yet they still won't release it here? Apparently they don't think there's a market for these games or something...

Last gen it was Mother 3's failure to release, now there's all these. It's a bit off.

Let's not forget Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. That game is very fun, and aside from the occasional "colour" or "mum", it's perfectly translated. At least there there's no region lock. This, well a hack will be needed of some kind, but importing the games seems like a good option at this point. I wonder if the European Wii cases are also twice as thick and clear?

That's a mix of Japan-only and Japan/Europe titles, though. I think the two categories make more sense separated. Also I'd leave out Doshin, that was last gen and nothing else from last gen was listed there (and I'll bet we got more games Europe didn't than they got ones we didn't, that gen...).

JP only - Captain Rainbow, ASH (though rumor has it Nintendo completed an English localization of the game and then canned it), Pandora's Tower, Dynamic Zan (Zangeki no Regenliev), Soma Bringer, the second DS Fire Emblem game, Fatal Frame IV, the other DS Starfy titles (other than the one we got), etc

JP/EU but not the US (out or rumored) - Xenoblade, The Last Story (minute chance of a US release for this one but I'd be quite surprised), Last Window, Another Code R, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, maybe a few more?

Ones that got released in the US but not Europe - Well, Excitebots was a US-exclusive release...

NoE wins again - A Black Falcon - 24th June 2011

It sounds like Pandora's Tower (Wii) will be getting a European release this year as well! Of course, no sign of an American one of course... if that continues, it'll be another must-import one for the list.

NoE wins again - A Black Falcon - 2nd July 2011

We hate you NOA! Hate you! (see: Operation Rainfall, and Nintendo's "no we probably won't release Xenoblade, Last Story, or Pandora's Tower in North America" response)

Also, Pandora's Tower is now also officially announced for Europe. I think I'll need to mod my Wii soon. (I wouldn't have to if you weren't so incompetent, NOA... but you are now, so I'm forced to. :( )
