I'm partial to Roger Moore... I have to say it's probably The Spy Who Loved Me. Love the zany campy 70's directing style... for the same reasons, I also love Moonraker and The Man with the Golden Gun. My favorite Connery is Dr. No.

Goldfinger and Goldeneye , The living daylights is not to bad either.

Roger Moore had humor and flare but Sean Connery was James Bond and everyone else after him was a substitute.

That's quite a bizarre mix. Goldfinger is universally loved... GoldenEye I can only assume because of nostalgia (it came out when we were younger, and if you're like me, will be the earliest Bond you remember as a kid... furthermore, we all associate it with a certain timless N64 game...) and while I also enjoy Living Daylights, I assumed I was in the minority with that one.

Fascinating.

Goldeneye was actually a pretty good Bond movie in my opinion. The rest of the Brosnan Bonds were pretty disappointing but that was a good start. My favs have to be Thunderball and From Russia With Love. I prefer the Connery Bonds to Roger Moore, but I don't mind the campy style as much as some do. The Man with the Golden Gun is my favorite Moore Bond.

I could never abide Brosnan... I enjoyed GoldenEye only since the N64 title polarized me to it, but the rest of his suck. And I don't blame him at all, either... I feel that he could have been a competent Bond if there still existed a competent Bond filmmaker. But Daniel Craig... he does nothing for me. He's not at all a Bond actor. He's better cast as a serial killer.

Finally someone agrees with me, Daniel Craig is more like Travis Bickle then James Bond.

I liked Casino Royale as a movie, but not as a Bond movie if that makes any sense. Quantum of Shit was horrible, though.

Goldeneye is the only one I've seen.

Therefore, it's my least-favorite.

Yeah, I've never been a Bond fan either... I'd never even seen a Bond movie before 2000 sometime, and even then I didn't find them that interesting. I've seen a couple I guess, but I don't know which I'd say I've liked, if I could remember much about them...

I know I've seen Goldeneye, but I don't know if I've seen the whole thing of any of the other ones... seen parts of various ones on TV but not the whole movies.

I've never seen a whole Bond movie. I saw parts of Goldeneye but it didn't seem like my cup of tea. I enjoyed the N64 game a lot more. I haven't played that game in over a decade though.

It makes perfect sense.

I'm surprised, and yes, disappointed, to find that half of the TC population is not a fan of Bond. At least we can all agree on one thing, though: the new ones suck, and Daniel Craig is a bad actor (for the part he's playing.) GoldenEye was the best Brosnan film.
