A very interesting article... if you didn't know how deeply ingrained doping is in European cycling, this article does a great job of explaining it. Interesting stuff... (Though I don't imagine that things are all that different in other sports, doping seems to have been/be an incredibly common thing few athletes seem to be able to keep away from the temptation of...)

They should just let them all dope and be done with it. Allow them the freedom to wreck their bodies for the sake of winning some sissy bike race.

I know it's not really a sissy event, but I have a point to make.

Hah, that opinion is basically exactly how the article says Americans (wrongly?) consider cycling... :)

I admit I have as well, though. bicycle racing as a working-person's sport? Pretty strange concept...
