CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - The Former DMiller - 11th April 2003

I didn't know that I get to choose the next game when I win, but here we go. This game is the classic WWII shooter 1943.

Man, this game isn't easy but I love it. I don't know why I didn't pick this sooner!

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 11th April 2003

All I want to know is why you didn't play Spyhunter... its a great game! More fun in some ways than 1943... which is also good...

Honestly, I have a slight problem with zip file attachments from this site, and I just figured out how to fix it

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 12th April 2003

If I don't win this one its probably because I'm still playing Spyhunter too... :)

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 12th April 2003

Hard!

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - N-Man - 13th April 2003

How does one beat the asshole mega-plane at the end of level 3?

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - Weltall - 14th April 2003

Gotta hit all four engines first, then the fuselage... sounds easy to type, but I haven't done it in years :S

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 14th April 2003

Got to the boss of level 3 for the first time... its cool how the choices you make at the screen where you assign points affect the game so much... the better guns are awesome! Its interesting to have to choose between better weapons and having health or special weapon meters that last longer (on that note, what exactly do defense and offense options do? Increase your damage against multiple hit targets and decrease amount of time on the energy meter?)

Oh, and that plane boss is tough...not impossible, I guess, but hard... and made way harder (for highscore attempts) by how this game gives you just one life...

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 15th April 2003

Didn't reach the plane boss this time (got very close though)... but somehow my score is higher...

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 16th April 2003

Come on... don't give up, everyone!

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - Weltall - 16th April 2003

What do you mean, don't give up? They only go for five days. You win. Pick another game. NOW.

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 16th April 2003

Well I went a week with Spyhunter.

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - Weltall - 16th April 2003

Why didn't DMiller play?

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 16th April 2003

Now that is a very good question.

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - The Former DMiller - 17th April 2003

I tried. I couldn't come close to those scores. I was also still playing Spy Hunter. :)

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - Weltall - 17th April 2003

Pussy! Mad

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 17th April 2003

I was playing SpyHunter too... maybe I should choose it again. That game's awesome!

Oh, and 1943... tough game. No one even managed to beat that level 3 boss without dying...

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - N-Man - 18th April 2003

If I may.

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - Weltall - 18th April 2003

Level 9 is murder.

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - A Black Falcon - 18th April 2003

Woah. Uh, I think Weltall wins...

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - N-Man - 18th April 2003

Rats, foiled once more

CGC#9: 1943 (NES) - Weltall - 18th April 2003

Well, I'm pretty much out of ROMS to pick from. So you can pick next if you'd like, N.
