Kirby Super Star Ultra? That's super fantastic!

Also, it's nice that they finally stopped doing the idiotic thing to the US box art and make Kirby look somehow "tough".

Eh, angry Kirby's kind of silly looking, but he's not that bad...

As for Kirby Super Star Ultra, yeah, it is looking good, isn't it. A rerelease of the most popular game in the series, with new content... nice.

Still, the most interesting game of the series on DS is Kirby Canvass Curse, for being unique.

Well Super Star switched up the gameplay in various ways between "games" so it had that. I do love Canvas Curse though. I'd say having both of my favorites in the series on the same system is a great thing. Kirby 64 had the combo system going for it, but if they end up including a feature like that in whatever extra games they add to make it "Ultra" it'll wrap it up in a nice little box. It already predates the Mirror game with the first Kirby game to have Metroid aspects (Great Cave Offensive), so it could have it all.

Kirby Super Star port for the DS? Oh hell yes. I'd like to see a remake of Kirby's Dream Land 3 as well. It was my second favorite game in the Kirby series.

Since I got Kirby's Adventure for NES I started playing that, and it's great of course... I don't think I like it quite as much as Kirby's Dream Land 2 for GB, though. I replayed that game again (on my original GB too! :)) a few months ago, and I still absolutely love it... Kirby's Adventure is good, but it doesn't quite match up. No friends, slightly more limited controls (using special attacks in the air is more restricted, etc -- it seems like you can't do as much as you could on the GB, somehow), etc... and there's just something about the size of the screen that seems to fit better on the GB. I don't know, but Kirby just seems to fit best on the GB... in Kirby's Adventure and Kirby 64 Kirby is proportionately about the same size in comparison to the enemies and his speed is proportionately the same, but with the larger view, he seems slow in comparison... while on GB he does not.

Still, great game.

As for Super Star... there's actually a copy of it in the local game store, but it's $20... yeah, I haven't gotten it.

I've never owned KSS. I rented it a few times back in the 90's and later downloaded a ROM of it. I don't have a ROM of it currently, but if I get the urge to play it again someday, I could probably find a ROM easily.

Kirby's Adventure is pretty good. I played a ROM of that years ago. I personally like the GBA remake, Nightmare in Dream Land, better. There is a certain charm to the original, but the remake is an improvement in pretty much all aspects, plus you can unlock a mode to play as Meta Knight, which is pretty neat. I think that was the first time you could ever play as Meta Knight, so we probably have Nightmare in Dream Land to thank for his playability in Brawl.
