IGN reviews Burnout 2! - Private Hudson - 3rd April 2003 Insider Only Quote:Closing Comments Everyone here better buy this game. Seems to be slightly improved from the PS2 version as well. Let's hope that there's online play in the sequal (even on the GCN!). It's still my favorite game of this generation. ![]() IGN reviews Burnout 2! - A Black Falcon - 3rd April 2003 It does look good... not some super-game that is so awesome like you seem to think it as, I expect, but good and and improvement over the first one.. Um, why is Burnout 1 called short? its not... while it may not be that many races to beat the thing, the learning curve is extremely steep so getting to the point where you can consistently finish races within the time limit takes a long time... IGN reviews Burnout 2! - Private Hudson - 3rd April 2003 Meh, I've played Burnout 2 to no end. I think it's just an amazing game with unlimited replay value. For me, it's probably the equivilent of Super Smash Brothers: Melee for Edenmaster :D 4 player would have been nice, or online, though. Burnout 2 really only takes a race or two before you start winning. Though, the more you progress through it, the harder it gets. :) IGN reviews Burnout 2! - A Black Falcon - 3rd April 2003 Burnout 1 seems to in some ways get easier as you progress... its still really hard, but you can actually finish races without running out of time almost every time -- as compared to at first where for the first half dozen races or more you won't get anywhere NEAR the finish line... IGN reviews Burnout 2! - Smoke - 5th April 2003 I'll definitly be picking up this little gem. I need a good racer for my Cube and F-Zero won't be out for a while now. |
