TovenNet Servers Spring Cleaning - etoven - 1st March 2008

I did some major maintenance to TovenNet servers today, because my sites were crawling at a snails pace. Attentionality I am paving the way to a migration of TendoCity to TovenNet servers.

List of server upgrades...





  1. Reduced Server Cooling Temperature 50 Degrees!!
  2. Added new better system fan.
  3. Cleaned Heat Sink On Processor
  4. Cleaned other fans on system.
  5. Removed unnecessary programs from system.
  6. Ran disk consistency check.
  7. Blew out dust from main board.
Over all clock speed tripled!!! Sites are smoking now!!!
Future upgrades planned...

  1. Install .Net 3.5 support and upgrade AJAX to full version 3.0 from 1.0 beta.
  2. Upgrade Hub to 200mb (ABOUT $200)
  3. Upgrade Server Rack (ABOUT $800)
